The Global Startup Ecosystem Report Climatetech Edition is now live and the Ocean Startup Project is listed among the Global Top Ecosystem Players in the #BlueEconomy! Launched at @COP28UAEOffical in Dubai, this data-driven report by @Startup Genome and the Global Entrepreneurship Network, together with Canada’s Ocean Supercluster, Cleantech Group, La Zone Bleue, and Mississippi Development Authority presents expert insights into startup activity in Cleantech and the Blue Economy and provides key knowledge for entrepreneurs, support organizations, and policymakers.   Insights include: 
  • Between H1 2020 and H1 2023 Cleantech Series A funding has increased 73% and Series B funding has increased 166%.
  • Singapore moved up an impressive 18 places in the Cleantech ranking, from #26 to #8, and is the only Asian ecosystem in the top 10. 
  • Europe has surpassed North America in its share of Blue Economy Series A funding.
